About the Camporee

Ron WhiteheadWelcome to the International Camporee website. Our theme for 2014 is based on the outstanding historical Old Testament character Daniel. A prophet and leader he lived in the world, right in the epicenter of civilization at that time and yet was not conformed by it. We believe that it was his relationship with Jesus that made him forever faithful. We also believe that Jesus is the true forever faithful One to us. We pray that as you join us in the summer of 2014 that your hearts and minds will be refreshed in this story for our time.

We would love to help you get started by adding your club to the list. However, to ensure accuracy, we accept club names from the conference level. Please contact your conference Pathfinder/Youth Director and ask them to send an email to DILEANNY@CYE.ORG requesting your club be added to the website. Be sure to verify that your club is on that list. Once we have the email, we can have it updated on the website within 10 business days.

Translation into several languages is planned for evening meetings.  If your group includes an experienced translator who would be willing to volunteer, email our Translator Coordinator, James Mangum.

Pathfinders and staff have enjoyed collecting pins representing different clubs or regions as souvenirs of the Camporee experience.  Some conferences develop a special pin which club members can purchase a supply of, to trade with campers from other clubs, conferences, countries and continents.  All are welcome to participate and bring pins to trade, representing your club/group or bearing your country’s flag.  Trading pins must be small, about 1-2 cm in diameter. This is entirely optional.
