FAQ on Non-Adventist Speakers for this conference:

Question:  Why are there non-Adventist speakers at this conference?

Answer:

Thank you for the concern you have expressed. We affirm your desire that the discussion of world mission retain a distinctly Adventist character because we believe that Adventists have a special mission to the world. Christians of any denomination going abroad on a mission trip face similar challenges of providing good pre-trip training,  relating well with the hosts, crossing social-cultural-linguistic boundaries effectively, building long term relationships with the hosts and providing good post-trip debriefing and training. Our guest speakers will share their expertise on these matters. The uniqueness of Adventist mission will be emphasized by the good list of our own speakers that is still being finalized.

Ronald Whitehead, Director, Center of Youth Evangelism
Gorden Doss, Department of World Mission
